✨🇹🇭 ‘YAM GAI’ Recipe in 10 Minutes! ✨
A fresh, zesty, high protein Thai Chicken Salad that’s perfect for weight loss, muscle building, or just a super tasty meal! 💪🔥
This is one of my favourite (and most underrated) Thai dishes 🇹🇭 — and Auntie Tik & I show you how easy it is to make at home!
🥕 Ingredients:
* 500g chicken breast
* Shredded carrot (& shredded onion if preferred: optional)
* Chopped coriander & spring onion
* Fish sauce & soy sauce (make sure quality brand)
* 1 lime
* Thai chilli/Scotch Bonnet + garlic (pestle & mortar)
👩🍳 Quick Steps:
Step 1: Boil the sliced chicken breast until fully cooked. Add glass noodles to the same pot and cook until soft, then drain.
Step 2: Mix in freshly pounded chilli & garlic, about 1½–2 tbsp of fish sauce, and Thai soy sauce (use good quality brands).
Step 3: Add shredded carrot (and onion if you like), a big handful of chopped coriander & spring onion, and the juice of one lime. Make sure It’s balanced with the saltiness of the soy & fish sauce.
Step 4: Garnish with sliced chilli and serve immediately to keep the crunchy, fresh texture.
Fresh, spicy, crunchy, and full of flavour — give it a try at home and let us know what you think! 🙌

WE ARE OPEN AGAIN AS NORMAL! Thank you to everyone for such kind messages and support ❤️❤️
After a massive unexpected bill and phoning everyone who was personally affected I’m glad to say it’s business as normal 🫡, I’ll be starting my Oxford Masters in October so you might see less of me during service but the standards will be just as high from my amazing team
Lots of love,
Alex & Auntie Tik
EMERGENCY WE HAVE TO SHUT: We have to close right now.
We were fully booked, gas has completely gone down, our ventilation system broke at 5pm and we open at 6pm. I’ve called everyone i know but it can’t get fixed before we open
We’ve never shut the restaurant this late and i’ve phone everyone who’s booked and I’m so sorry. I’ll try my best to make it up to those who booked tonight if you rebook for later
Once again, incredibly sorry to everyone who booked for tonight i’m mortified
QUALITY vs POOR Soy Sauce for Thai Cooking 🇹🇭
Soy sauce is essential for Thai cooking — it’s what gives the perfect balance of saltiness and umami. But not all soy sauces are equal!
Auntie Tik & I taste test 3 different soy sauces side-by-side to show the HUGE difference it makes when cooking Thai food:
🥇 Best: Dek Som Boon – £3.50 🥈 Mid-Range: M&S Light Soy Sauce – £1.20 🥉 Cheap: Sainsbury’s Light Soy Sauce – 65p
💥 Spoiler: You can taste the difference. Don’t let a poor soy sauce ruin your Thai dish!

THAI GREEN CURRY! 💚
Mum makes the best Thai Green Curry, so here’s an authentic recipe to make at home!
It’s a dish I’ve grown up with and most I’ve tasted in the UK lack the aromatic Thai green chilli flavours & are too sweet - so here’s how it should taste:
- Coconut Milk (Chaokoh)
- Mae Ploy Green Curry Curry Paste
- Salt
- Sugar
- Sweet Basil
- Green & Red Peppers
Much Love Everyone! ❤️
